DDR4 viteza vs latenta

care setare la RAM este mai performanta pentru un i7 8700k in jur de 5ghz?
latenta minima obtinuta : 2133MHz cl11 cr1
frecventa max obtinuta : 3600MHz cl22 cr2
in 3d markuri da aproximativ la fel.. in compresie x265 e chiar identic.. unde ar trebui sa se simta diferenta?
aceasta intrebare am adresat-o pentru ca nu gasesc pe nici un forum o explicație clara...
daca il puteam tacta la 4266 cu cl22 si cr2 atunci imi era clar ca latenta ar fi identica cu 2133 / cl11 /cr1 dar dublu in secvențial..
asa la 3600 da scor impresionant in aida64 dar in real life nu prea vad diferența...

si atunci de ce zic multi ca daca ai cpu la 5ghz iti trebuie si ram pe masura ca sa tina pasul cu cpu?

Viteza si latentele memoriei ram influenteaza mai mult performanta la procesoarele Ryzen.

 Ale mele sunt 3200Mhz CL14, Samsung B-Die.

 In jocuri ar trebui frecventa sa conteze, dar in general ce e la 3000 e de ajuns, diferenta dintre 2133 si 3200 cand am luat piesele era de vreo 6-8 FPS in GTA 5 pe 1440p si probabil 10-12 pe 1080p, nicio diferenta daca ai 4k. Deci in general, face o diferenta in gaming pe rezolutii vechi precum FHD.

Ultima oara cand m-am uitat pe niste teste, rezulta ca frecventa este mai importanta decat latenta.

La memorie conteaza in primul rand cantitatea apoi sa fie in configuratie dual-channel. Latentele si frecventele nu prea conteaza pentru ca diferentele de sub 5% se vad doar ca cifre in teste benchmark, nu se simt deloc in utilizarea reala.

In concluzie, nu merita investitia de bani pentru un kit tactat mult si nici cea de timp ca sa obtii nu stiu ce frecvente (cat mai ridicate si sistem stabil). Aaaa, daca esti pasionat tare si vrei sa obtii recorduri in testare, este alta discutie. :)

Haha, pai vorbim de diferente de cifre benchmark. Daca nu ai sti numarul de FPS, nu vei simti diferenta de la 230FPS la 266FPS. Poate ca vei simti ceva de la 80FPS la 90FPS.
Ce rata de refresh au monitoarele de gaming, 144MHz? :)
