Title: Elite Dangerous: Odyssey
Post by: oldshooterman on 09 June 2020, 15:27: Elite Dangerous: Odyssey se anunta a fi o expansiune masiva a jocului Elite Dangerous (simulator spatial), care va permite in premiera iesirea din navele spatiale pentru a efectua misiuni la sol. Producatorii au spus ca cel putin in prima faza vor renunta la VR (spre deosebire de jocul initial care e foarte apreciat in VR). Lansarea e asteptata a fi inainte de 31 martie 2021.

Post by: slicker on 22 August 2020, 23:32: Atata talent si nici macar unu` sa scoata in pana mea un urmas demn de Freespace 2. Atata tevatura si totul e absolut lipsit de suflet. O misiune din vechitura aia de joc are mai multe de spus decat tot jocul asta cap-coada.

Asta se poate numi "open world"... Nu ajunge o viata ca sa fie numarate, cu atat mai putin sa le viziteze cineva. ;D

Post by: Raziel01 on 05 October 2020, 00:28: De fapt, jocul asta e un exemplu foarte bun de cum sa nu faci un open world. E o lume imensa, dar lifeless. E generata automat si e plina de nimic. Handcrafted content lipseste cu desavarsire, iar majoritatea misiunilor sunt in stil checklist.

Star Citizen imi place cum arata, dar ala o sa ramana pe veci in alpha.

Post by: oldshooterman on 08 October 2020, 19:40: No Man's Sky e o vechitura cu "procedurally generated content" primitiv. Oricum asta e viitorul, calitatea va fi tot mai impresionanta pe masura ce avanseaza tehnologia bazata pe AI. Se va ajunge destul de repede la momentul in care cineva scrie povestea, AI-ul o va citi si va face jocul pe baza ei. O echipa umana redusa va face doar ajustarile necesare pentru ca rezultatul sa fie cat mai atractiv.

Peisajul e modest, misiunea slabuta, armele ineficiente si neinteresante.
