Hardware / NVIDIA next-gen Ampere GPU on 7nm

1. Inca nu e confirmat oficial, dar in media de specialtate se profileaza un consens in ceea ce priveste numele viitoarei arhitecturi dezvoltate de Nvidia, respectiv Ampere.
2. S-au amplificat zvonurile relativ la posibilitatea ca Nvidia sa anunte, sau cel putin sa pomeneasca despre noua arhitectura peste doar cateva zile, la GTC 2019.
3. Nu se asteapta nimeni la produse pentru gaming pe noua arhitectura in viitorul apropiat, dar e oportun sa anunte noua arhitectura pentru piata HPC/DL/AI.

Am deschis topicul in ideea ca ar fi util sa adunam aici exemple de clipuri video care pot fi luate de referinta in ceea ce priveste calitatea imaginii si a continutului, pentru a putea fi "savurate" sau date de exemplu pe dispozitive de afisare (televizoare, proiectoare video, monitoare) de inalta rezolutie si calitate.

In zilele noastre, acelasi Tim Berners-Lee cauta solutii pentru a reda utilizatorilor posibilitatea de a-si relua controlul asupra datelor pe care le furnizeaza.
In paranteza fie spus, asta nu cred ca va fi pe placul autoritatilor, iar ceea ce vrea sa faca Berners-Lee e cu totul revolutionar...

Teoriile despre Univers sunt fascinante si au creat multe discutii si dezbateri de-a lungul timpului... In prezent, in mediul academic este larg acceptata teoria inflatiei, care pe scurt spune ca din punctul "0" (Big Bang) Universul s-a extins extrem de rapid inainte de a ajunge in starea acutuala.
Dar, Profesorul Stephen Hawking, care a lucrat impreuna cu Profesorul Thomas Hertog, a ajuns la concluzia ca de fapt Univesrsul este o vasta si complexa holograma.
"Cu alte cuvinte, realitatea 3D este o iluzie și că lumea aparent "solidă" din jurul nostru - precum și dimensiunea timpului - este proiectată din informațiile stocate pe o suprafață plană 2D."
"Este o noțiune matematică foarte precisă a holografiei care a ieșit din teoria corzilor în ultimii ani, care nu este pe deplin înțeleasă, dar este minunată și schimba complet scena".

Surse din Japonia, via TweakTown, relateaza ca urmatoarea generatie de placi video Nvidia pentru gaming se va numi Ampere si ca va fi lansata in 2020. Cipurile vor fi fabricate pe tehnologia de 7nm extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV) pusa la punct de Samsung.
