Situatia cu memoria e clara si e remarcata intr-un numar mare de review-uri.

"Increasing the resolution to 4k removes any and all CPU bottlenecks. And here we can see the 3070 is between 19 and 37% slower than the 3080. Though when not limited by VRAM capacity it's only up to 28% slower." min.14.30



Adica cantitatea insuficienta de memorie duce la scaderea performantei cu aproape 10%.  ;D

Am avut VRAM-ul (8GB) plin in RAGE 2, daca tin bine minte. Nu plin de la intrarea in joc, dar se umplea dupa mai mult de o ora de jucat si la o vreme dupa ce se umplea incepea sa agate nasol. Trebuia sa ies din joc si sa intru din nou ca sa se "goleasca". Cel mai probabil poate fi o problema din driver, dar ideea ar fi ca daca aveam VRAM mai mult probabil se umplea in timp mai mult si trebuia golit mai rar. E foarte bine sa fie VRAM in exces fata de cat pare a fi nevoie.

E absud sa te astepti la un pret apropiat de MSRP la lansare si inca nici nu sunt pe piata. Vor fi si custom sub 2800 lei dupa ce se calmeaza piata.

Nu sunt. Sunt open source doar tehnologiile si specificatiile de baza. AMD dezvolta si implementeaza efecte specifice pentru arhitecturile lor si care sunt suportate doar in anumite jocuri in care colaboreaza cu dezvoltatorii. Daca unii dezvoltatori vor ei sa introduca FidelityFX e problema lor cu cu partea open source, le trebuie licenta de la AMD pentru unele efecte care pot merge si pe alte arhitecturi, dar nu pot fi introduse efecte specifice doar arhitecturilor AMD, cum ar fi RDNA.

Treaba e demonstrata de faptul ca doar in cateva jocuri FidelityFX merge si pe placi Nvidia, si asta cu acordul AMD pentru un set mai complex de efecte.

Oricm, e irelevant. Solutia Nvidia se bazeaza pe AI si e de viitor pentru ca vor ajunge relativ repede la antrenarea AI-ului cu elemente care nu sunt specifice jocurilor, pentru reconstructia de imagini in jocuri. Adica daca vede AI-ul o "pata verde" (in rezolutie mica) intr-un context care presupune ca acolo ar trebui sa fie o frunza, in imaginea cu rezolutie mare pune o frunza, eventual plina de detalii. ;D

Man, GPUOpen e un pachet de tehnologii si specificatii open-source lansate de AMD. DAR AMD FidelityFX contine unset de instrumente software (CAS) dedicate arhitecturii RDNA, pentru care AMD a dezvoltat niste efecte special optimizate pentru placile cu Navi.
AMD FidelityFX trebuie implementat in jocuri impreuna cu dezvoltatorii, pentru arhitectura in discutie, deci n-are cum sa mearga si cu placile Nvidia fara ca Nvidia sa vrea si sa furnizeze soft cu instructiuni specifice pentru arhitectura lor.

Deci jocurile care merg cu DLSS sunt pregatite impreuna cu Nvidia.
Jocurile care merg cu AMD FidelityFX sunt pregatite cu AMD.
Jocurile care merg atat cu DLSS cat si cu FidelityFX merg cu DLLS doar pe placi Nvidia si cu FidelityFX doar pe placi AMD, nu poti aplica solutia AMD pe Nvidia si nici invers. ;D

Datele despre RTX 3060 Ti confirmate in GPUZ.
Leak nou: Se pregateste RTX 3080 Ti, GA102-250, 9984 CUDA cores, 384-bit bus, 12 GB/24 GB si posibil 3070Ti pe GA102-150, 7424 CUDA cores.

Asta sugereaza ca RX 6900XT, 6800XT si 6800 ar putea sa depaseasca 3090, 3080 si 3070 in rasterizare normala. ;D

Pentru ca FFX merge si pe nvidia, dar DLSS nu merge pe AMD. Insa AMD nu isi perimta inca sa vina cu exclusivitati din astea.
Merge doar functia de baza. AMD ofera in plus "features" indisponibile pentru Nvidia. Ca idee.  ;D

Performanta e similara la optiunile de calitate mare. Sesizase cineva chiar vreo 2-3fps in plus la AMD in ceva test (irelevant din moment ce placile sunt diferite). DLSS 2.0 se descurca mai bine cu upscale de la rezolutii mai mici. Irelevant daca se vrea calitate.

Parerile sunt impartite. Unii spun ca FFX ofera ceva mai multe detalii, uneori. Practic sunt greu de gasit diferente.

In mare parte sunt diferite jocurile care suporta FidelityFX fata de cele care suporta DLSS. Personal imi place mai mult oferta de jocuri cu suport FFX.
